Cape Snoek is a long thin species of snake mackerel found in the seas of the Southern Hemisphere particularly along the west and southeast coast of South Africa. The sought after elongated silvery fish is known to many to be the ‘quintessential’ South African fish. It is sea frozen, whole, head on and line-caught.
