We are all about Fish and Shellfish. We take fresh and frozen seafood directly from fishing boats to factories, fish shops and food service distributors locally and Internationally. Our head office is situated in the Cape Town harbour and our buyers are present in the majority of South African fishing harbours including Port Elizabeth, Mosselbay, Struisbaai, Hout Bay and Saldanha. We are able to tailor catch to the specific needs of South African and global markets, thereby optimising resources and contributing to the sustainability of the fishing industry. We are positioned to best meet the needs of International Buyers by guaranteeing the quality of our products and offering tailored processing to the required specifications. We are proud to have long term relationships with fishing vessel Owners around the world.

Processing and Packaging for the customer

Blue Wave Fish Traders' operations are geared towards catching and trading of fresh and frozen fish and shellfish, processing the catch to the standards applicable to both South African & International standards.All catches are distributed and processed in HACCP / Food safe factories and distribution centres, before onward transport to the appropriate markets by road, sea or air.Packaged either fresh in poly boxes, or frozen IQF, IWP, Interleaved or block frozen in both Nett weight and Catch weight cartons
